"Method to try: preserve the order and conditions of each attempt; compare passing and failing runs; test a suspected condition in a safe environment. The released check is: “The evidence contains unsuccessful attempts and distinguishes a suspected condition from a confirmed cause.”",
"Local observations in this example: all three attempts use the same commit and input. Attempt 1 fails after another test, attempt 2 passes in isolation and attempt 3 fails after the same test again. They do not identify the cause; they make test order worth checking. Link run artifacts and record the environment without copying secrets into a public page.",
"Team decision in this example: status remains under investigation. The maintainer will compare the failing suite run with an isolated run in a safe test environment and check for leftover shared state. Review what the comparison did and did not establish before closing. This plan is not a release approval or a rule for every project.",
"Keep the released limit beside the plan: “No fixed number of clean reruns proves the absence of intermittent defects. A test-environment failure may still reveal a real production risk.” If the team already records and checks this information, the public method may add nothing."
