# Almost: a facilitator's pocket guide

By Vedokrok

Choose one familiar situation, let people make a move, then examine what changed. The yellow traveller connects the six places; the discussion belongs to the people in the room.

## Before you begin

Pick one place rather than racing through all six. Suggested pacing for a short session: read and choose, compare reasons, reveal the turn, then write one question to take away. Adjust the time to your group; this is a running suggestion, not a tested lesson duration.
Invite people to pass or use an invented example. Do not ask for private workplace messages, personal conflicts or a psychological self-description. Builder, Explorer, Keeper and Connector are perspectives to try in a situation, not measured personality types.
Keep the result hidden until the choice where the experience asks for that order. Give people room to disagree about what the fictional facts justify. A facilitator's preferred move is not proof of participant understanding.

## The Courtyard

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/two-sides

Give each person a different public role link from the same story. Ask each to choose from their own context before comparing. Alone, take one side first, then open the other. Ask which specific sentence could make the commitment clear. The links do not transmit answers between people.

Discuss: Which part of the agreement existed only in one person's head?

Scope: The stories are authored fiction. A short reply does not establish someone's motive. The other-role link opens an independent view; it does not collect a friend's answer.

## The Report Factory

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/beautiful-reports

Run the same authored rounds twice. Choose a different action or report rule on the second run, then compare the closure report with real outcomes and remaining obligations. In a pair, one person chooses while the other tracks what the board leaves out; switch roles. Do not rank people by their fictional totals.

Discuss: Which number could improve while the job remains unfinished?

Scope: All counts, costs and returns are fictional rules. This script and the portable excerpt do not reproduce the multi-round game or establish how a real organisation behaves.

## The Advice Museum

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/advice-museum

Choose one saying and judge its fit in a specific context. Read the explanation, change the condition, then reconsider. Alone, write a bounded revision. In a pair, let the second person propose a condition that could change the answer. Avoid turning a conditional lesson into an opposite slogan.

Discuss: What single change would make your advice stop fitting?

Scope: The examples explore conditions, not universal verdicts about advice. The portable story is a simpler stand-alone example; the full museum has its own five exhibits.

## The Observatory

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/before-obvious

Read the premise without the ending. Spend the finite clue budget, write what each clue could change, then commit. Only then reveal the outcome. Alone or in a pair, review the information available at the time separately from what happened later. Replay is informed; it is not another first attempt.

Discuss: Was that a defensible decision, a fortunate result, or both?

Scope: Cases, evidence budgets and later events are authored fiction. A good or bad ending alone does not establish the quality of the earlier decision. The excerpt is not the finite-budget case engine.

## The Workbench

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/small-tools

Use a harmless invented request first, then enter only your own information if you want. Add work rows, retain unknown estimates, or complete the agreement and comparison fields. Alone, edit and inspect the exported note. In a pair, ask the other person to confirm what the note says; a draft does not itself establish agreement.

Discuss: What does the request include that its short name leaves out?

Scope: The tools organise your entries. They do not verify estimates, create another person's agreement or pick a winning option. Ordinary share links open a blank tool.

## The Story Workshop

Open: https://vedokrok.com/play/story-studio

Choose a two-view, changed-condition or missing-fact template. Replace the situation, both moves, both consequences, turn, lesson and limit. Preview both branches. Alone, look for an obvious moral cue; in a pair, let the second person challenge the less attractive branch. Export locally; review all text before explicitly making a public custom link.

Discuss: Would the other choice ever make sense under a different condition?

Scope: Creator drafts are author-created and unreviewed. A valid file is not editorial or scientific approval. Custom links require a deliberate public-safe review; export does not publish a story.

## Courtyard: independent role links

Pair the two links from the same title. Each person sees a separate starting view; neither link reports what the other person chose.

## What can leave the room

A general share link opens a curated public starting page or blank tool. Copying or downloading a note carries the entries the user chose; inspect them before passing the note on. Studio custom sharing is separate: anyone with the custom link can read its text. Local export does not publish a draft.
The portable HTML files use ordinary text, links and native details. They work without scripts, an iframe or the Vedokrok app. Readers can open either consequence; these excerpts do not enforce the app's clue budget or choice order.

## Fiction, sources and honest observation

All town stories, example quantities and consequences are independently authored website fiction. They are not research findings, knowledge-release records, diagnoses or evidence that an intervention works. Further-reading links on the full site refer to released methods; those sources do not verify fictional game consequences.
If you take notes with participants' permission, record what actually happened: a question asked, a branch misunderstood, a useful change to wording or an unresolved disagreement. An opened link, exported file or completed scene alone does not establish growth, learning, mastery or real-world improvement.
Finish with a concrete prompt: “Where could this distinction matter, and what would you check before using it?” An honest answer may be that the example does not fit the person's situation.
