Why / limits
In this scene, looking again in the bright patch leaves the dark edge unexplored. Moving the light makes another part of the same table visible. The key never moves.
A made-up scene, not a rule that the answer is always elsewhere. Sometimes the obvious place is right; sometimes you need more information before changing your search.
Nothing is saved. Start again clears both moves.
