Solution Pack

Resume Complex Work After an Interruption

Protect the return path with a compact checkpoint, keep new requests from opening a second context and restart from the saved state before rebuilding the whole task.

Use this when

A meeting, message or unavoidable switch interrupts complex analysis, debugging, writing or other work whose local state is expensive to reconstruct.

  • The current task has enough local context that losing it creates reconstruction cost.
  • The interruption is planned or you can checkpoint shortly after it happens.
  • The task is ordinary work where a local restart cue is appropriate.

Avoid forcing the pack when

  • The task is so small that a checkpoint costs more than restarting.
  • A long absence or changed high-stakes environment requires a broader revalidation.

What you should leave with

A ready-to-resume checkpoint and a short recovery protocol that preserves the verified state, open question, first action and resume pointer.

  • Current task brief
  • Method register
  • Five-line checkpoint
  • Incoming-request parking note
  • Resume action
  • Return-time check

Practise before the real task

Try the judgement before you need it.

A real task may carry consequences. The Academy gives you a safer case to practise on first, with an explanation and a link to the released method. Your practice stays in this browser.

Copy a prompt

Use this pack with your AI

Describe your task, then copy the prompt into your AI assistant. The prompt asks it to check which methods fit, prepare the output shown above and identify what to check next.

Vedokrok keeps this text only while this page is open. If you paste the prompt into an AI service, you share the text with that service.

Preview the prompt

If your AI cannot open the pack link, download the Markdown file and attach it to the same conversation.

Run it level by level

Level 0 — Freeze the restart handle

Capture goal, verified state, open question, first action and resume pointer.

Methods: MHC-D-RESEARCH-0463

Level 1 — Triage the interruption

Capture non-urgent requests without opening their wider context.

Methods: MHC-D-RESEARCH-9060

Level 2 — Restart locally

Use the saved state and execute the first action before reconstructing the whole history.

Methods: MHC-D-RESEARCH-0464

Level 3 — Offload future intentions

Move future actions to a reliable reminder when remembering, not learning, is the problem.

Methods: MHC-D-RESEARCH-0459 · MHC-D-RESEARCH-1261

Level 4 — Revalidate only when needed

Expand the context review when the saved state is stale, inconsistent or higher stakes than expected.

Methods: MHC-D-RESEARCH-0464

Level 5 — Measure the return

Check restart time, repeated work and whether the saved first action stayed valid.

Go deeper only when the core pack leaves a gap.

The methods below are the curated core. A connected agent may search the wider released Vedokrok library only after it finishes the core Method Register and can name a material gap. Expansion is capped at two searches and three supplemental methods, which stay in a separate register so they are not mistaken for pack-curated methods.

Method Register

Inspect every method, then mark it as use, skip or unclear. A skipped method is not a failure; forcing every method would make the pack less trustworthy.

Take the pack with you

Markdown is the easiest portable form for a chat or agent. JSON is available for tools that want a structured contract. The run record template gives an agent a stable way to preserve its Method Register, artifact and check without exposing private chain-of-thought. Saved files do not update themselves.
